{Disclaimer: I received a free product in order to facilitate this review. I was not compensated otherwise. This blog is not responsible for prize shipment.}

Most of us are familiar with the name Jeff Corwin. JeffCorwinConnect and Waterford Press have teamed up to create Pocket Naturalist Guides. These guides will soon be for sale on Earth Day, which is April 22nd. These pocket guides include information on six of the most visible species on our planet. It includes information on their ecosystems and how important each species' role is in the food chain. We were sent all six of the pocket guides to check out.

Cheyenne laid out the pocket guides for you all to see. :)

These  pocket guides have been great to include alongside our homeschool lessons. Since my kids are a bit younger, I printed out some coloring pages of a few of the species to go along with the information. There's tons of great information packed in here about each species. You could easily take these pocket guides with you to a zoo this summer and have the information right on hand. My two oldest kids particularly enjoyed the Wild Cats and Wild Dogs pocket guides.

As I mentioned earlier, these pocket guides will be available for purchase on April 22nd. Priced at $7.95 each, you can purchase them at Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, and other retailers. And while we all love apps and technology, I love that these pocket guides don't require that. It's important to put traditional materials in our kids' hands sometimes. They are small enough to fit in a backpack (or diaper bag in our case) and fold up nicely. Be sure to learn more about these Naturalist Pocket Guides!
