We spent time and money at various stores purchasing swimming suits, food, and whatever else you can think of. I'm definitely planning out our next trip better, starting with a list of items that I know we will need for sure. At the same time, I don't want to overpack.
Packing up a family is never easy, especially when you have four kids. I think I've come up with a basic list of what we could use. Since we're just going away for a weekend, we don't need to bring a lot of items with us. Then again, who knows what can happen with four young kids?!
Here's my list so far:
* Swimming suits for everyone
* Pool floaties
* Lunch for the road / easy snacks
* Clothes for two days
* Diapers & wipes
* Games & extra batteries
* Spare cell phone charger
For a short weekend trip, hopefully this is a sufficient list. What kinds of things would you bring on a weekend trip with young kids? Do you have any ideas as to what I could add to my list?
