FuzziBunz are back at it again with a new and innovative cloth diaper design. We've used FuzziBunz a lot over the years. There's been a lot of changes in their design, each keeping FuzziBunz ahead of other cloth diaper competition. In case you're not familiar with this brand, FuzziBunz have been recently redesigned by grandfather of nine, Roy Couvillion. These diapers were ahead of the game when they revolutionized modern cloth diapering; first appearing on Shark Tank back in 2000.
So what's new about this FuzziBunz design?
What I also noticed about the redesign is that the inserts are different. The new inserts are wider in the back, so the absorbency is great and we haven't experienced any leaks. Now being honest, I wasn't the biggest fan of the old FuzziBunz inserts back in 2011-2012. When my now 4-year-old was in cloth diapers, I didn't feel like they were wide enough or that they absorbed very well. I think this was a common issue with the Elites and this is why they are being replaced. This definitely makes me realize that FuzziBunz listened to their customers and improved this aspect in the redesign.
What about the poo?
Ah, yes, what everyone wants to know is how does it hold up the poo? Let me tell you, every time we get a new diaper, Hallie HAS to christen it with poo. I am happy to report that the new FuzziBunz get the job done!
