Previously, I wrote about ways we naturally fight cold & flu season. Part of healthy and/or natural living is not only having natural remedies around for when we're sick. We need to strive for having a strong immune system year round, so that when we do get sick, our bodies don't struggle to fight off viruses and infections.
Some of the supplements I rotate in my regime include: Vitamin D since it helps fight many illnesses. Omega-3, which works well with Vitamin D. This also helps fight my Vitamin D deficiency. I also take a good probiotic since that good bacteria is needed for gut health. I learned last year that gut health is essential in good immune function.
We had it rough one winter when it came to our family's health. Hallie had an ear infection that went on for weeks, not to mention several colds.
