Keep Your Child Safe with Not Your Child Wearable GPS Device + Giveaway! #NYCsafekids

As a mom of five, I admit I do get nervous taking all of my children out by myself sometimes. It literally only takes a second for a child to get distracted and disappear. When my oldest was 2 years old and I was pregnant with my second child, he disappeared on me at a children’s museum. It was only for a couple of minutes. I was with a friend and another mom could tell I was looking for my child. We found him immediately. But after that, he made a habit of being a runner and was definitely a stress to take him out of house. And let’s face it, we can’t always stay home.

Imagine you are at a large zoo with your children and one of them begs your attention. You turn your back momentarily and before you know it, one of your other children has disappeared. You heart drops into your stomach as you frantically scan the crowd with your eyes for her little brown pigtails and pink jacket. Thankfully, you spot her right away and bring her back into your care. But what if you didn’t find your child right away? Do you know what you would do?

Not Your Child Corp. has developed a GPS tracking device that keeps our children safe. Did you know that a child goes missing every 40 seconds, according to the U.S. Department of Justice? Fifty-one percent of those cases were due to situations like miscommunication, being separated from a caregiver, being hurt, or getting lost. Not Your Child can resolve these situations quickly.

Not Your Child Corp's device is meant to use in every day situations or even while traveling. It is designed for comfortable use with an included custom lanyard It works in 104 countries. This armband was developed using US Military shock & vibration + waterproof standards, so you know it works well. The device works on both web and mobile devices and is available for iOS, Android, and Blackberry platforms.

  4. My son is non-verbal with autism, & is completely unaware of all the dangers in this world.. traffic, bodies of water, etc. He is unable to tell a stranger he is lost, shout out for help.. to put it simply, it is beyond scary for me as his parent to think of what would happen if he ever wasn't supervised. The extreme importance of this device is that it could very well save his life one day. The best feature is the Quad band G.S.M modem, making the device extremely accurate so I could find him immediately in an emergency. To say this is just a child safety device is an understatement.. to me it is a life-saving device.

  7. Yes Krista! We have some very close friends with autistic children that are non verbal, and it can be very very scary for loving parents as yourself. This is why we love the S.O.S button at the bery front of the device!

We hope we are able to help loving parents like you everywhere, we know the challenges you all face and we are here to help keep your precious ones safe.

    Thank you.

  10. They’re light weight (because my kids are really small), have a long battery (wouldn’t want that to die right when you really needed it) and the customizable notifications. Sorry, couldn’t pick just one!

  11. I love that this item is light weight as my daughter is very petite! My daughter has hearing loss, so when we loose her it is quite concerning as she won't hear us if she gets far away.
