Not Your Child Wearable GPS Device Review & Giveaway
"Enjoy Peace of Mind While They Enjoy Being Kids"
Recently, I introduced you all to a wearable GPS tracking device from Not Your Child Corp. I really feel like these are the next best thing to keeping children safe in large public events, but is also beneficial for special needs children. A good friend of mine has a child on the spectrum who wanders quite a bit, and she has since looked into ordering this device for her son.
It is well worth my toddler wearing this device at a large public event. There is a lanyard that it attaches to and we just put it around her neck. We take frequent road trips and attend several events all year long, so I would feel better knowing I can track her location from my cell phone if she were to get lost.
One of my favorite features of this device is that it boasts a Quad band G.S.M. modem, with an internal G.S.M. antenna and a highly sensitive G.P.S. engine, so the location is extremely accurate. There are also several customizable alerts that you can alter around your child's schedule. Maybe if you live in a large city and your teen is traveling to events independently, you can be notified when your child arrives at their destination. If there is an emergency, your child can press the S.O.S. button which will immediately send out an alert.
Here is a total list of the customizable alerts, all of which can be sent to you via e-mail or text.
- -SOS/emergency alert
- Geofence, which notifies you when the child arrives and leaves
- Speed alerts
- Fall down alerts down children and elderly
Logging into their website to check on the status of your child is easy & you can also contact their tech support if you need any help. If this wearable GPS device is something that may benefit your family, you can order a device from Not Your Child Corp.'s website.
