Confessions of a Natural Mom Week 2 #naturalmomconfessions

Some Call It Natural

I was just thinking about how everything I’ve been doing lately is so not my normal routine. We’re still unpacking odds and ends in the house. If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you probably know that right before we moved, our dryer went out. After line drying everything for two weeks, I gave in and started going to the laundry mat. I mean, hello, when you’re a mom of four…laundry is never ending!

I think about a week and a half before the closing date, Joe finally looked at me and said, “go buy a box of diapers.” I was appalled! I had been cloth diapering this girl for almost 19 months straight. Did he think just because we were moving and had no dryer that I was going to take a break from the cloth?! Well, I decided that perhaps it’d be best to just pack up the cloth diapers since they were all stripped, washed, and dried.

For about three weeks, we’ve been using disposables. I know, I know…it’s not the end of the world. But disposable diapers are expensive. We have about half a box of diapers left and then I hope to go back to cloth diapers. And you know what…my husband can’t complain, because we have TWO washers and TWO dryers in this house! (More on that another time…)

So tell me, natural mamas…what is the most un-natural thing you’ve done this week? Be sure to check out the other bloggers over at the link up!
