For nearly two years, I have been searching for the best toothpaste for my family. Mainly one that’s flouride free. I learned of the dangers of flouride and therefore, we do not use flouride toothpaste in our home. A close friend and I often discuss what natural products we are using in our home and a few months ago, she suggested Earthpaste to me. I once saw it at our a natural food store near us, but did not purchase it. I was simply wondering if I would really like it or not. Eventually, I decided to write to Redmond, the makers of Earthpaste, to see if they would let me review their toothpaste on my blog. Luckily, they said yes!
We’ve been using the Wintergreen toothpaste for my husband and I for a week now. Our children (minus the baby, of course), have been using the lemon children’s version of Earthpaste. I was trying not to expect too much out of the toothpaste, since I’ve been disappointed so many times before. However, I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. Let me talk to you more about the ingredients of Earthpaste.
Earthpaste is unique in that it does not have many of the harmful additives found in everyday toothpaste. As mentioned before, there is no flouride. Earthpaste contains Redmond Clay, added essential oils, Real Salt, and xylitol. There is no gritty taste to the toothpaste. The wintergreen flavor I chose was just enough to taste good while brushing. Overall, my teeth felt extremely clean. Honestly, they feel cleaner than they have using any other toothpaste before. Of course, the huge plus being that Earthpaste is so safe, you can eat it!
Earthpaste is available in wintergreen, lemon twist, peppermint, and cinnamon. It is available for purchase here, at many health food stores, and on Amazon. Now, it’s your turn to try to win some Earthpaste!
Stay tuned as I may be featuring more product reviews and giveaways from Redmond Trading Company in the future!
