Easy & Inspirational Children’s Room Decor

My husband and I became homeowners about two-and-a-half years ago. We bought an older fixer-upper house and have slowly been giving it a personal touch. Recently, I’ve been focusing on the bedroom for my oldest two girls. With a new set of bunkbeds, reclaimed furniture, a fun colored rug, and rose pink walls only one thing was missing…decor!

Since children grow so quickly, that means their favorite things also change just as fast. A few years ago, my 7-year-old was into Dora, but now she has newer interests like sports and Shopkins. Her favorite color has even changed from green to pink. I wanted to decorate her room according to her tastes and not spend a fortune. I also wanted to include the tastes of my younger 4-year-old daughter. Wall murals are a great way add a fun touch to your child’s room. Since they are easy to remove, you can change them as your child’s interest does.

PIXERSIZE wall murals are a wonderful way to cover a large amount of space. There are so many designs available, it’d take days to look through all of them! I specifically looked through the “children’s room” and “kindergarten” categories to find inspiration for my girls’ room. Once you find the right fit, you can view the mural in your own room by uploading a photo. These removable wall murals can act as a temporary wallpaper, which is a great option if you rent your home and can’t make permanent changes.

PIXERSIZE has an easy process for finding the right wall mural for your space. Once you’ve found your selection, you need to customize the size of the mural, and select the mural material and texture. The three materials available are a self-adhesive option and two others that are applied with wallpaper paste. When decorating a child’s room, I would use the self-adhesive options so we can change it when desired.

Ordering from Pixers also ensures you are putting a safe product in your home. The products are made by using only “safe, odorless, and 100% HP Latex technology.”

I always wanted a wall mural when I was a kid but painting one seemed like way to much work for my parents. If Pixersize had existed back then things would definitely have been easier! I love that they have a self-adhesive option so it isn't super-permanent.

I like the idea of using a wall mural instead of painting a child's room! As a teacher, I know how quickly kids can grow out of phases and it's good to know that things on your walls aren't permanent!
