Guy’s Night Out at Monster Jam in Moline, IL

Disclaimer: I received free tickets to attend this event as a part of a U.S. Family Guide blogger.

It’s a rarity to hear from Joe on this blog, but when I told him that we could attend Monster Jam in exchange for a blog review, he was all for it. Our boys, Avery (3) and Matthew (6) went to Monster Jam at the iWireless Center in Moline, IL with him and their grandpa on May 17th.

This is our second year attending Monster Jam. This time we were accompanied by our youngest boy and my father-in-law. Monster Jam is an event that we’re planning on taking our boys to annually. I think their favorite part of the show, like typical boys, is watching the huge trucks crash. I was impressed with Avery’s ability to sit through the show at only 3 years old. Monster Jam is truly an all ages sort of show.

Our favorite part was Grave Digger. In Matthew’s words, “I love all of the JUMPS!” Avery’s favorite part was watching the cars “fight” and seeing the female driver get so mad. I think they were impressed that “girls can drive Monster Trucks too.”

Although our seats weren’t too close, I tried to get a good picture to share with you all. The second picture is one 6 year-old took and wanted to share.
