Nut Free Halloween Treats from Vermont Nut Free Chocolate

Although {so far} none of my children have a nut allergy, my oldest does have a dairy allergy. I know the struggle of living an allergy free life all too well. We do what we need to for M, but it’s not always easy. We are thankful for companies who are mindful of special diets and make treats around holidays with that in mind.

Now with Halloween just a little more than a month away, it’s really important to take nut allergies into consideration for any trick or treaters that may come by your house. Vermont Nut Free Chocolate offers some tasty gourmet candies that are safe for kids with nut and tree nut allergies. In fact, the company was founded by a mother of a child with nut allergies.

The folks over at Vermont Nut Free Chocolate were kind enough to send my family some of their candy over for us to try out like their Halloween Pops, Halloween Medallions, and lots more! We don’t indulge in candy very often, so gourmet candy was a special treat for us. We were won over immediately by the rich, smooth taste. My husband has requested that I buy some more soon! Our kids have some friends with a nut allergy, so we have saved the Pumpkin Treat Box to pass along to their family as a special treat just for them on Halloween.

Vermont Nut Free Chocolates are available for purchase at a number of stores or on their website. You can follow them on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and Instagram.

Disclaimer: I received a free product to share with my family in exchange for our honest review. 🙂

Good point, I need to make sure I have some nut-free things for the trick-or-treaters…and probably some milk and gluten-free things, too!

It's such a pain to see our kids suffer from allergies and they end up not enjoying life as they should. You're right, it's a good thing that we have options, like Vermont.

One of my's son's best friends has peanut allergies. They are not allow to have peanut butter in his class. I have become much more aware of it since then. We always make sure there are no nuts in his lunch.

Ooh! We aren't allergic to nuts, nor do we know anyone who is, but these sound pretty good. I'll definitely check them out and have my kiddos test them.
