The Attachment Pregnancy: The Ultimate Guide to Bonding with Your Baby” is a book that every expectant woman should read, whether it’s your first or last pregnancy. A far cry from the mainstream books available, this book promotes the true natural mother and baby bond. The Attachment Pregnancy promotes a healthier pregnancy over several important points including a positive mental well being, having supportive relationships, and lowering stress during pregnancy. There are tips on bonding with your partner in the second trimester, making decisions during pregnancy, and the bond during birth.

As an attachment mother of four, birth activist, and lactivist, I highly recommend this book. This book will remain on my shelf so I can read it again during my next pregnancy and I will pass it onto my daughters when they are women. It is my desire that they bond with their babies during their pregnancies to have the best start possible when they reach motherhood.

When my son was baby I didn't know about atachement parenthood. I just carried him around in a sheet of fabric, like they do here in Ecuador. It seemed so natural and logical to me. What I did know about was the botle breastfeeding debate and I must say, breastfeeding seems the most logical and natural thing for me. We both loved it with my son.
