Tips for Traveling with Toddlers

This conversation is partnered with our friends at Reviews Bee.

We recently took a road trip with our five children. Before we went, I spent about a week planning what we would need to bring along for them. They range in age from 2 to 10, so I had different needs and wants to meet. I wanted to make the nearly four hour drive without a lot of stops. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on eating out. I also wanted to keep the fighting to a minimum. I pre-planned activities and snacks for our drive. It made everything a lot more bearable!

I had to admit that it was a bit harder to figure out how I was going to keep my 2-year-old entertained. She doesn’t like to be in her car seat for long periods. Toddlers also have a shorter attention span. Luckily, looking online gave me lots of ideas for keeping her happy while we were in the car and when we got to our destination. Since I have several kids, I often still practice babywearing my toddler because it helps calm her. It also allows my hands to be free!

Our friends at Reviews Bee have put together this great infographic with more tips for traveling with toddlers. It is a great resource for stress free traveling with toddlers!
